About The Author
Alexis Halloran is the Author and Creator of The Nyctophilia Diaries. It was in the fantastical land of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that the ideas of this miscellaneous Blog were first conceived.
Into the deepest hours of the evening, whilst the rest of the world is in a slumber, Alexis can be found most productive in the shadows. With only the glow of a laptop to enlighten the endless swarm of thoughts around her head.
In her earliest memories Alexis can still recall her attempts at jotting her rampant imaginations down. She wrote stories of brawn, bravery, and the clashing of swords. There were tales sprinkled with folklore, and teenage romances that still make her cringe to this day. She journaled of aspirations and the human intellect to her hearts content, until the walls of written journals stacked so high, they had no more room to grow. Eventually she was forced to gain the confidence to collect her piling dreams, adventures and schemes into the mystical inter-web universe. And that's how this blog came to be.
The experiences, motivations, failures and tales of Alexis now lay here for the world to uncover. She writes in hopes to inspire just one person on this planet- even if that person is only herself- because then it would all be worth the effort.
